Today I feel in tune and proud of my body and what it can do, but it took a long time to get here. My health journey has been a windy upside-down rollercoaster. It’s taken decades to get to where I am today and a whole lot of persistence, dedication and trusting my intuition. I’ve struggled with IBS, fatigue, brain fog, gut infections and candida, mercury toxicity, adrenal fatigue just to name a few. I’ve tried all the fad diets out there, trust me. I’ve obsessed and battled anxiety through it all. It wasn’t until I began working with a Functional Medicine practitioner about 10 years ago that my health and my life shifted in a massive way. Through diet and lifestyle changes I experienced a big transformation and started to feel well. It wasn’t linear, but each protocol and new set of habits left me better balanced, more energized and amazed at the power of healing.
