Statistics show that women are getting more affected by stress and burnout than men.

When stress becomes chronic, the body starts to respond on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level. If unrecognized and untreated, eventually we reach a state of burnout. In burnout the hardware is damaged: the internal stress system is disrupted and causes all kinds of physical problems and can have a damaging effect on the brain. Burnout comes to the surface on both a mental and physical level.

Menopause at work can impact mental health and exacerbate levels of anxiety amongst women as reported by a lot of studies. 20% of women have considered leaving their work or not pursuing a promotion because of stress and menopause combined at work.
