Do you know that due to PCOS or PCOD, your hormones will be out of balance and it may affect your pituitary, thyroid, adrenal, and pancreas? It may increase your chances of developing high blood pressure as well as diabetes. Melatonin hormone is naturally produced when our brains discharge it through the night to regulate our sleep. Many studies demonstrate that supplementing with this hormone may improve sleep quality and shorten the time required to fall asleep. Caution is also warranted if you are on neural active drugs such as antidepressants, as interactions are likely. Learn the importance of PCOS and sleep in this workshop as designed by Priyanka Shah, clinical dietician.
